Admissions Information
Placement age:
As per the Pennsylvania state guidelines, incoming kindergarten students must be five years old by September 1, of the year they will start kindergarten.
Getting Started on the Admissions Process:
Please contact Sue Lasek (school secretary) at 215-836-5644 or sgsslasek@stgene.org to schedule a tour.
After the tour, schedule a morning (kindergarten) or day (grades 1-7) for your child to visit.
Next, your family will schedule a time to meet with the principal, Mr. Edward Malandro, for an admissions interview.
After your meeting, a formal letter of acceptance and registration paperwork will be mailed to you.
Documents Required for Registration:
Copy of birth certificate or passport
Copy of certificate of baptism if not baptized at St. Genevieve Church
Official record of immunization and documented proof of physical and dental examination as required by the School District of Springfield Township.
Copies of report cards and standardized tests for admission beyond Grade 1
